AGA is an association organization of gem laboratories and regional chambers of commerce, covering gem laboratories, gemological institutes, and jewelry chambers of commerce in the Asia-Pacific region and other regions of the world. Its mission is to carry out technical exchanges and scientific research cooperation, exchange technical experts, share industry trade, market, and consumer information, unify testing technology, methods, and evaluation rules, and maintain the correct implementation of Asia-Pacific international standards in member laboratories, and plan and organize the revision of Asia-Pacific international standards in the field of jewelry.
