The 2023 International Jewelry Summit was successfully held by CGE. Eight domestic and foreign institutions, including CGE and E&P International, jointly initiated the establishment of the "Asia-Pacific Gemstone Traceability Innovation Service Demonstration Consortium", to promote the high-quality development of Gems & Jade trade in "the Belt and Road".

For the sixth consecutive year, CGE has been fully responsible for the recruitment and operation of the Gems & Jade Pavilion at the CIIE.

CGE officially listed the first Gemstone digital product - Gems & Jade Traceability Node Information Query Service on the Shanghai Data Exchange. The national standard "GB/T42438-2023 Service Specification for Gems and Jade Traceability System " jointly developed by CGE and Shanghai Institute of Metrology and Testing Technology was officially released, and this standard will be implemented from December 1, 2023

CGE became the Deputy Secretary-General of the National Jewelry and Jade Standardization Technical Committee (TC298).

CGE became a national member and board member of the World Jewellery confederation (CIBJO), an advisory organization of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

For the second consecutive year, CGE has been fully responsible for the recruitment and operation of the Gems & Jade Pavilion at the CIIE, and successfully held the first International Jewelry Summit.

CGE signed strategic cooperation agreements with Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) and International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) to start global cooperation.
