On the morning of May 5, 2023, the Shining Oriental 2023 Diamond Jewelry Culture Festival and the 4th 'May 5th Shopping Festival' Pudong Series events Launch Ceremony was held in the atrium on the 3rd floor of Super Brand Mall Pudong, attended by leaders from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the People's Government of Pudong New Area, and Donghao Lansheng Group.

At this ceremony, Lv Feng, General Manager of E&P International, and Chen Yu, CEO of CGE, jointly signed the "Asia Pacific Gem and Jade Traceability Innovation Service Demonstration Strategic Cooperation Agreement", which aims to promote information transparency, industry innovation, economic cooperation, and achieve industrial value-added.

E&P International and CGE jointly formed a team to carry out the construction of the Asia Pacific Gem and Jade Traceability Innovation Service Platform, focusing on "Full traceability of goods", "government intelligent regulation", "information verification", and "public service module", to provide convenient and reliable cross-border goods traceability and certification services for government regulatory entities, enterprises in the industry, and consumers. Relying on the advantages of the international network cooperation mechanism of the Asia Pacific demonstration electronic port, and through the decentralized and tamper proof features provided by blockchain technology, key information on the production, circulation, sales and other aspects of gem and jade products is collected and recorded. Gather the whole process information into CGE’s Asia Pacific gem and jade traceability service platform, establish the "point-to-point" full data channel for the entire industry chain of gem and jade. Assist consumers in accurately querying the entire process of gemstones from overseas sources to domestic imports. And gradually promote it to countries along the "the Belt and Road" and even the world in the future, so as to enhance China's voice and influence in the gem and jade industry.

Exhibitors from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Colombia, Italy and other countries have made it clear that they will participate in the Diamond and Gem Pavilion of the 6th CIIE in 2023. As of the end of April, over 90% of the exhibition space of the Diamond and Gem Pavilion has been booked, and some exhibitors have asked for booth expansion even after the signing.

During the event, exhibitors from Pakistan and Sri Lanka have completed the signing of the 6th CIIE and will participate in the Diamond and Gem Pavilion. CGE will continue the recruitment of exhibitors for CIIE and provide services for the gemstone and jewelry exhibitors from overseas.
