CIBJO (World Jewellery Confederation), as the "United Nations of the Jewellery Industry", represents the interests of all individuals, organisations and companies around the world who make a living from jewellery, gemstones and precious metals. It is the oldest international organization in the jewelry industry, originally established in 1926 and has a status in the United Nations to represent the international jewelry industry.
The current membership of CIBJO is mainly composed of national jewelry trade organizations from more than 40 countries around the world, and it covers the entire jewelry, gemstone and precious metal industry vertically, from mines to markets, and every component in every field of production, manufacturing and trading center. Most of the leading companies and service providers in the international jewellery industry are also affiliated with CIBJO through business memberships.
