The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2025. Located in Zone C of Hall 6.1, this year's CIIE Jewellry Hall welcomed both old and new friends. With a dazzling array of high-quality jewellry, the Hall was crowded with visitors every day, setting a record for the highest foot traffic in the history of the CIIE, and exhibitors beamed with joy. Many exhibitors have already inquired about and booked booths for the 9th CIIE.

During this year's CIIE, Chinese and foreign guests including Zong Ming, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, Wu Shengyue, General Manager of Poly Development Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri, President of the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO), visited the CIIE Jewellry Hall. Professional purchasing groups from various regions also came to visit and exchange ideas. Meanwhile, Liu Zhaohui, Second-class Inspector of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri held in-depth talks on the construction of Shanghai's international jewellry and fashion functional zone within the Hall.

The CIIE is the gateway for the world economy to access China's economy and an important bridge connecting China with the world. The number of participating enterprises in this year's CIIE has reached a new historical high, fully demonstrating the vigorous vitality of China's super-large-scale market.

The CIIE Jewellry Hall has become an important step for international Jewellry exhibitors to test and deepen their presence in the Chinese market, receiving positive feedback from exhibitors.

China Gem & Jewellry Exchange Center has officially signed as one of the official cooperation institutions for the 1st CIIE U-FAIR. The 2025 CIIE U-FAIR will be held from December 19 to 21, 2025, with a special gems & jade zone to be set up. Stay tuned!
