On November 10, the 2021 International Jewelry Summit Forum (hereinafter referred to as the "Summit"), one of the supporting activities of the 4th CIIE, was successfully held in Shanghai. The summit was co-sponsored by 5 organizations, namely, the Jewelry Management Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, China Jewelry and Jade Jewelry Industry Association, Donghao Lansheng Group, Shanghai Diamond Exchange, and China Jewelry Trading Center. It was held in the form of a combination of offline, with nearly 200 representatives from the consulates of some countries in Shanghai, various international jewelry associations, and professional service organizations. This summit discussed the topics of "Deep International Standardization Cooperation" and "Sustainable Development of Gemstone Supply Chain". Standardization plays an important role in facilitating economic and trade exchanges, supporting industrial development, and promoting scientific and technological progress. The Asia-Pacific Jewelry Standardization Alliance (AGA) was formally established at the 2019 summit. As an association organization related to standardization coordination work jointly participated by major jewelry laboratories in the Asia-Pacific region, the Asia-Pacific Jewelry Standardization Alliance (AGA) is actively promoting the comparison of AGA laboratories. For test items. In the future, the members of the Asia Pacific Jewelry Standardization Alliance (AGA) will continue to work to further promote the intercommunication and mutual recognition of international standards, implement new results, and make contributions to promote the convenience of jewelry trade.

Nowadays, more and more companies are beginning to pay attention to issues such as sunshine and sustainable development in the gem supply chain, and actively implement the relevant standards. The jewellery and jade under review serves the Chinese national standards for traceability, and is in line with international leading standards such as the International Jewelry Federation (CIBJO) Jewelry Industry Blue Book, Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), and the United Nations Sustainable Development 17 Goals. When it is officially released, it will fill the gaps in my country's national standards for jewellery and jade traceability services, and will surely become an important part of the facilitation of the jewelry trade between China and other countries in the future, as the cornerstone of trade promotion and mutual trust.

At this summit, all parties agreed to promote the establishment of an international working mechanism for jewelry standards, and work together to build a reliable, sustainable, transparent and open international supply chain traceability system and encourage legalized trade. Therefore, the international jewellery standardization cooperation was officially launched at the summit. In the future, all parties will successively release a series of new standards and results, accelerating the integration and intercommunication of national and industry standards for jewellery in various countries and institutions around the world, and assisting the global jewellery trade of all countries. The development of jewellery, enhance convenience, bring strong new impetus to the recovery and development of the global jewelry industry, and realize a new development pattern of the global jewelry industry through consultation, joint construction and sharing.
