This year, Yongtai Jewelry YONG TAI will display a 400-carat Paraiba rough cut carefully, and finally only one-eighth of its original weight was selected. Pursuing the ultimate polished 50.69 carats and designed works-Comet Comes (When Comet Comes).

At the beginning of the 21st century, far away in the mysterious African continent-Mozambique, in the vast wilderness, the faint light of the'comet' rough guide people to discover it, just like her weight, 400 carats of rough carrying her in the future Fascinating mission. The experience of Yuan Shi also travels to many countries like foreign visitors, always looking for her real destination.

After many twists and turns, she finally found her true identity in Thailand Yongtai Jewelry in 2012. In the same year, the rough stones were sent to Chanthaburi, Thailand, the famous capital of colorful treasures. The local craftsmen are also known for their superb gem cutting and polishing techniques.

Even under the joint discussion of many experienced jewelry engravers, they are always hesitant on how to cut and make them more perfect. After 3 years, in order to achieve a flawless presentation effect, in the end only one-eighth of its original weight was selected, and the ultimate pursuit of 50.69 carats was polished.

After 2 years of precipitation, it has entered the public's field of vision in 2017. It has participated in extremely professional exhibitions in the jewelry industry for many times, and has been selected as the best recommendation by the organizer several times.

In order to make her more unique and perfect, she decided to make her a one-of-a-kind work in 2019. "Time" to present her uniqueness. The design of "When the Comet Comes" is inspired by our curiosity and exploration of the vast stars.

The design coincided with the appearance of "NEOWISE". The last time this comet moved across the night sky, the Sumerian civilization in the Mesopotamia was still in ignorance. The designer used this as a source of inspiration to create "When Comets Come".

This work captures the wonderful moment of the comet "NEOWISE" shining in the night sky, burning, brilliant, but also cold as frost. It comes from the darkness and indulges in the darkness, giving a strange feeling; while the diamonds of different cuts are I traced the Milky Way behind the comet, thousands of stars, radiant, creating a magnificent and magnificent scene. The reason why diamonds are used is because the ancient Greeks believed that diamonds were fragments of stars that fell on the earth, so diamonds are the most suitable way to represent the stars in the universe.

The main stone in the center of the whole strip is the protagonist comet. It is a Paraíba tourmaline weighing 50.69ct. It is cut with a rectangular mat and presents a bright electro-optical blue. Paraiba is the most precious tourmaline species. The gem-grade loose stones of more than 3 carats are very rare. Large-grained gems with neon-like colors like this are even rarer. Its color is clear and flawless, just like a lake in nature. , This is also condensed into ice one by one with the components of the comet's nucleus. The huge comet drags a long tail, which is extremely dazzling in the entire galaxy, like a messenger of life, with the soul-catching power of "one hit and hit".

The entire chain ring uses a design language with a sense of speed. Different permutations and combinations of T square diamonds and round diamonds form concrete or abstract points and lines, which are continuously strengthened from wide to thin, giving people the most intuitive visual impact. . It is particularly worth mentioning that the spirally arranged T square diamonds on the chain actually simulate the movement trajectory of "NEOWISE". Those coils that are getting denser are the trajectories seen from the earth orbiting the sun as "NEOWISE" gradually moves away from the sun. When it reaches the aphelion, the circle almost shrinks to a point, and then expands year by year in the process of returning to the perihelion. The other stars on the chain are also quite thoughtful. Each corner uses a different cut or combination of diamonds. This design breaks the visual fatigue. More presence. At the bottom of the necklace is a ribbon inlaid with broken cobalt, shining like stars falling to the ground and the Milky Way hanging upside down, which together constitute the vast wonder of the universe!

After a year, in Hong Kong, China, a well-known designer from Shanghai joined hands with experienced craftsmen to finally complete her beautiful sublimation in 2020 through exquisite mosaic technology.
